ARBORFIELD residents are set to have their say on a proposed 5.9-acre residential build.

Hourigan Planning is preparing an outline planning application on behalf of housebuilder Anwyl Land for a 50-home development in the land off Langley Common Road.

It is currently undertaking a consultation period whereby residents can offer their comments until 5pm on July 18, ensuring stakeholders can engage with the process prior to the submission of a formal planning application to Wokingham Borough Council.

The draft scheme includes a mix of dwellings, with 40% being affordable homes and open spaces, a children’s play area, trees and hedgerows to be delivered.

Plans suggest that new properties will be energy efficient and a lower density of development fronting the open space in the north will provide an effective transition to the countryside beyond the north boundary.

Comments can be made to [email protected] using “Land Off Langley Common Road Consultation” as the subject line.
