A WOKINGHAM school is inviting residents to attend its lights show on Saturday, November 18.
After a successful display last year, The Coombes School PTA has reimagined its Laserworks Winter Festival this year so that, as well as a Disney-themed laser show, it includes plenty of entertainment, games and a silent disco, hoping to bring light, colour and fun to Arborfield as the late autumn chill kicks in.
All proceeds raised from the event will go towards providing an outdoor classroom to support the new Forest School’s activities at The Coombes.
Co-organiser Eleanor Torkington said: “The Coombes PTA is excited to present Laserworks Winter Festival 2023 after the success of our first event last year. This year, we’re going bigger and better, including a free silent disco and stalls to browse and do a little early Christmas shopping.
“There will also be plenty of games to entertain the children while you shop, as well as food from Adrian Roots, plus hot drinks and snacks to keep you warm while you watch our fabulous laser show finale.”
The display will be put on by Pulzar Laser Show and is suitable for all – not too loud for little ones, just music and colour.
Tickets are £5 per person and free for under threes. There is still time for additional stallholders to sign up.
The event takes place from 3pm-6pm at The Coombes School, Arborfield Cross.
