Hellenic League sides Binfield and Woodley United will both be on the road when they begin their FA Cup journeys in August.

Due to take place on or around Saturday, August 11, Binfield will travel to face Combined Counties Division One outfit Farnham Town in the FA Cup extra preliminary round.

Roger Herridge’s side progressed through this stage last year before losing to Horndean in the preliminary round.

Woodley’s FA Cup debut ended in defeat against Tuffley last season

And if they can get past Farnham they will face a home clash against either Brockenhurst or Christchurch, who both play in the Wessex League.

As for Woodley, they will go to Crawley Green in the extra preliminary round.

Woodley care home plans move forward

The Kestrels made their FA Cup debut last season, falling at the first hurdle to Tuffley Rovers. But they will be hoping to go one better this time when they take on the Spartans South Midlands League side.

If they do progress, they will welcome Aylesbury United to the Rivermoor in the next round.

Both Binfield and Woodley have also discovered their FA Vase opponents, along with Eversley and California.

Looking to try and replicate the achievement of fellow Berkshire side Thatcham Town, who won the Vase at Wembley last season, Binfield will kick off their challenge at home against Combined Counties team Frimley Green.

Jon Laugharne’s Woodley have been handed another away tie, at Chertsey Town while Eversley will welcome Wessex League Downton to Fox Lane.

The second qualifying round has also been drawn. If Binfield defeat Frimley Green they will go to either Penn and Tylers Green or AFC Stoneham, Woodley would play either Tadley Calleva or Ascot United while Eversley and California have another potential home game against Lymington Town or Portland United.

The FA Youth Cup first round draw has also taken place with Binfield making the short trip to Windsor.
