DRIVERS are being urged to avoid the A4 Bath Road in Hare Hatch following a two-vehicle collision this afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a serious collision at 1.52pm.
South Central Ambulance Service sent two senior ambulance officers in rapid response vehicles, two ambulances and the Thames Valley Air Ambulance to the scene.
Thames Valley Police officers remain on the scene.
The collision is believed to have taken place close to the junction with Blakes Lane between Hare Hatch and Kiln Green.
Road closures have been put in place while the emergency services deal with the collision. Wokingham Borough Council tweeted at 4.23pm saying they expected the road to be closed for ‘several hours’.
