Emergency services are on scene at Twyford station after unconfirmed reports have been received that a person has been hit by a train.
All train services between London Paddington and Reading have been cancelled or delayed while the emergency services are on the scene
Great Western Railway released a statement: “Due to the emergency services dealing with an incident at Twyford all lines are disrupted.
“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.
“We regret that the Emergency Services are attending an incident on the railway in Twyford.
“All trains in the area are suspended, and trains running further afield are being altered.
“We are in the process of arranging alternative transport for those affected, but many customers will have a lengthy wait this evening with heavy delays expected for trains in and out of London Paddington.”
Thames Valley Police have been contacted for comment.
