Ashridge Park Women’s interest in this season’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup came to an end on Sunday.
The Cantley Park-based team lost 5-2 to Newport Pagnell Town in north Buckinghamshire in the second qualifying round of the national knock-out competition.
They ‘won’ their first match after their opponents were unable to raise a team.
Lauren Broadhurst scored both goals for Ashridge Park, who also earned just over £2,500 in prize money from their exploits in this year’s competition.
