FIRE CREWS were called to Woodley late last month to tackle a fire on an electric HGV.
The incident happened at 8.35am on Reading Road on Monday, April 29.
Crews from Caversham Road and Wokingham Road were sent to the scene. They identified a malfunction in the vehicles battery and used one hose reel to cool the vehicle.
They then used a thermal imaging camera to check for hotspots.
Firefighters were at the scene for approximately 35 minutes.
