Crews from Wokingham fire station were in Market Place on Saturday.
They talked about fire safety within the home, handed out leaflets and discussed the importance of practicing a fire escape plan with young children at home.
Throughout the day, the staff received enquiries about the range of career opportunities within the Fire and Rescue Service.
Additionally, £83.10 was raised for The Fire Fighters Charity and FireAid. The Fire Fighters Charity are working with FireAid to raise money to bring 12 Ukrainian firefighters and their families to Harcombe House, where they will stay for up to right days for rest, recuperation and rehabilitation.
