A food delivery driver has been jailed after exposing himself to members of the public while making deliveries across Berkshire.
Sethupathi Perisamy, 47, of Clifton Road in Slough, was sentenced to six months in prison at Reading Crown Court on Wednesday after being found guilty of five counts of exposure.
The court heard that between 8 March and 11 May last year, Perisamy was working as a delivery driver and attended a number of addresses in Maidenhead, Slough and Windsor, where he exposed himself to customers.
Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, Perisamy was arrested on 16 May and charged the following day.
In addition to the prison sentence, he was made subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for ten years.
Detective Constable Ashley Jones, of Berkshire East CID, said police had carried out a “thorough investigation” to bring Perisamy to justice.
“These sexual offences have a significant impact on victims,” she said.
“If you have been a victim of a sexual offence, Thames Valley Police will listen and support you.”
Anyone wishing to report an offence can contact police by visiting a station, using the force’s website or calling 101.
