Time is running out to book tickets for this weekend’s tabletop takeover at Wokingham town hall.
Wokingham Town Council has again inviting Eclectic Games of Reading to join for a day of tabletop board gaming.
The adventure, on Saturday November 16, is suitable for everyone – whether you’re already a fan of tabletop gaming or just curious.
It will be a great social occasion to meet like-minded people, with a selection of easy to pick up but very re-playable modern board games, and demonstrators to help you learn during the day, courtesy Eclectic Games.
Taster sessions of Dungeons & Dragons proved very popular earlier in the year. This world famous roleplaying game is 50-years-old this year.
Dungeon Masters Will and Elizabeth will be guiding adventurers on a very short taster of how the game is played.
Due to the open nature of the game and the ability and encouragement for players to shape the narrative, players for this session must be 14 years or over. More detail in the FAQ’s below.
Tickets for the morning session are available from www.ticketsource.co.uk/wokingham – with a wait list in operation for the afternoon session.
Once booked, you will have access to a game sign-up sheet. If there is a particular game you want to play, sign up in advance of the event. Sign-ups are on a first come first served basis.
