STUDENTS, staff and parents at Holme Grange School celebrated an impressive 96% overall pass rate on GCSE results day.
The school boasted all passes in Further Maths, Food Technology, Sciences, Computer Science, DT, Geography, and Modern Languages.
In French, grades 8 or 9 were secured by 64% of this year’s cohort, while 68% achieved 9-7 in Chemistry.
Humanities students also performed strongly, with 43% of geographers, 44% in Religious Studies and 65% of Historians receiving 9-7 grades.

“Special congratulations to Seamus, Ruby, and Raeis. Seamus achieved a remarkable seven grade 9s, two grade 8s, and one grade 7. Ruby, an embodiment of consistent excellence, secured seven grade 9s, while Raeis shone with five grade 9s.
“Yet, the accolades do not just rest with top grades. Many of the pupils have surpassed their own expectations, reaching pinnacles they once deemed insurmountable.

Holme Grange excelled in BTEC assessments, celebrating a 100% pass rate – of which 52% of grades were Distinction or higher.
