LVS ASCOT praised their students for an ‘amazing set of GCSE exam results.
Their grades 8-9 were up 1.5% on 2022, despite the ‘great reset’ of GCSE grades this year.
20.4% of grades were 8-9 (18.9% in 2022) and represented the highest level of 8-9 grades in the ‘normal’ pre-pandemic years since 2014.
One student achieved ten grade 9 passes, including an A in Further Maths.
School Principal, Christine Cunniffe said: “We are delighted with the GCSE results this year, and the higher grades achieved. It is a testament to the exceptional work of our staff and the hard work and perseverance of the students at LVS Ascot”.
Dylan achieved two grade 9s, two grade 8s and seven grade 7s. He’s been with LVS Ascot since Year 2 and will be staying with there for another two years as he takes up his studies in the Sixth Form. Dylan is looking to do History, Politics and Film Studies at A-Level.
Ava joined LVS Ascot in Year 7, and she achieved a grade 9, seven grade 8s and one grade 7. Longer term she wants to study Creative Arts & Humanities at UCL.
