THE PIGGOTT School followed up a strong set of A-Level results last week with ‘outstanding’ GCSE and Level 2 grades.

Passes were achieved by 90% of pupils in English, 92% in Maths and 91% achieved a grade of 4 or higher in at least two Sciences.

The Piggott achieved all passes in eight subjects: Biology, Chemistry, Chinese, Further Maths, Physics, Polish, Statistics and Dance.

Other subject highlights included: Media Studies, 97% pass rate, Spanish, 97%, Art & Design, 96%, and Computer Science, 96%.

The vast majority of students will be returning to study in the school’s Sixth Form this September.

Executive Headteacher Mr Gray thanked all teaching and support staff for their continued support and congratulated all students for their successes.
