A BOROUGH charity invites teams to register for its Annual Golf Day.
Wokingham’s Wade Day Centre will hold the sporting event to raise money for the activities, meals and services it offers to older borough residents.
The golfing day will include breakfast, and a two course lunch as well as the opportunity to play on an 18 hole course.
It kicks off with breakfast rolls, hot drinks, and a shotgun start at 9am.
Players can compete in challenges including: Beat the Pro, Nearest the Pin, and Longest Drive.
Then, after a two course carvery lunch they will be able to take part in a celebrity auction and raffle.
Organisers say there are great prizes to be won – not least of which is £10,000 for anyone able to bag a hole in one.
The event will take place on Friday, June 7, at Hennerton Golf Club, Wargrave.
Tickets cost £75 per person for teams of up to four, and include breakfast, lunch, and refreshments..
