The Twyford Scouts Donkey Derby will be back again this year – for the 29th time.
The event at Twyford Recreation Ground will take place on Sunday, June 16, which is also Father’s Day. Gates will open at 1pm with the first race at 1.30pm.
In addition to the racing, entertainment will be provided by the Maidenhead Band. There’s also a fun fair and other attractions for children.
To keep visitors fed and watered there will also be a bar, BBQ and a tea tent.
All village organisations are invited to participate by offering an activity or booking a space.
