A BOROUGH repair cafe welcomes anyone with broken items that they would like restored.
Rather than throwing things away, people are encouraged to bring household goods and gadgets, bikes, toys, jewellery, and a whole host of other things that need fixing, to the next Wokingham Repair Cafe.
Volunteers there will work their repair magic, and help people to avoid sending their broken goods to landfill.
Items are fixed for free, with donations gratefully received.
Coffee and cakes will be available to buy.
The group is supported by SpaceForAll, in partnership with Wokingham In Bloom, and Maya’s Refillables.
It meets every second Saturday of the month, at All Saints Church, Wokingham, from 10am until 1pm.
The next event is on Saturday, October 12.
