Thames Valley Police is investigating a burglary at Downshire Golf Course.
The incident, which happened on Thursday 1 February, saw an alarm activated at 11.12pm.
In a statement to Wokingham Today, Thames Valley Police said a wood chipping machine was stolen during the burglary, but it was later located and returned to the golf club.
A spokesperson said: “No arrests have been made at this time, and anybody with any information or who believes they may have witnessed this incident is urged to contact TVP on 101, quoting reference 43240051234.”
Thames Valley Police is understood to have located the stolen machine in Finchampstead shortly after the incident, and towed it back to the golf club using its own vehicle.
