Wokingham town council has launched its annual grant scheme.
The scheme, which is open for applications until September 20, is offering a grant funding opportunity to local groups and charitable organisations who need funding in the 2025-26 financial year.
This will be for projects and activities that benefit residents of Wokingham town, and support the delivery of the council’s vision.
Details of the council’s grant policy and an application form can be found on the town council’s website at www.wokingham-tc.gov.uk.
The council has also launched a new in-year grant opportunity to support cultural and community events and activities in Wokingham town.
The new ‘Culture and Community Grant Fund’ welcomes applications for financial support from local groups, charities and businesses to establish new events, or expand access to existing events that foster a sense of community, celebrate diverse cultures and bring people together.
Applications for this grant scheme will be reviewed regularly throughout the year, and the scheme will remain open whilst funds are available.
