ONE of the borough’s estate agents is expanding again, but this time it’s working on opening two new branches at the same time.
Hat and Home, which has offices in Wokingham town centre, Crowthorne and Bracknell, is to launch in Ascot and Sandhurst. This means it will be a network of five branches.
Its first opened just two-and-a-half years ago.
Ascot will open next month, but the company is already listing properties in the area including a house on Priory Road at £1,695,000.
And the Sandhurst office is due to open in September after a full re-fit of the three-storey building.
It is a time of continued expansion for the firm. Completing a hat trick of launches is its new mortgage and protection brokerage Milliner Financial Services, which launched last month.
Managing Director Luke Strzadala is excited about the new branches.
“We’ve had our eye on both these locations for a while, but needed the right retail space which we have secured on the High Street, Ascot and Yorktown Road, Sandhurst,” he said.
The current branches have brick partitions, a living moss wall feature, and specially created bowler hat pendant lights.
They also have a framed album of Paul Young, as the lyrics ‘Wherever I lay my hat, that’s my home’ was the inspiration behind the agency’s name.
Founder of Hat and Home Ben Gee says: “We are extremely proud of our brand and the marketing that goes alongside it to ensure high levels of traffic to our website which gives our clients’ properties the greatest exposure to the most motivated buyers and tenants in the market.”
As part of its ongoing commitment to raising funds for Parkinson’s UK, the firm donate £10 for every sale or let to this charity close to the team’s hearts – founder Ben was diagnosed with the progressive neurological condition in 2020 at the age of 41.
