A Horse has been rescued by Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue.
In a statement, a spokesperson said: “At 8:48am on Friday, December 19, we received a call from Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire and rescue service to reports of an animal in need of rescue on Fleet Lane in Finchampstead.
“Crews from Wokingham and Theale fire stations were sent to the scene, alongside the Animal Rescue Unit from Caversham Road fire station, the heavy rescue unit from Theale community fire station, and one officer.
“Upon arrival, crews found one horse stuck in a horse box. Crews safely rescued the horse, before placing it in the care of a vet.
“They were on scene for approximately two hours and 15 minutes.”
