A blind man was robbed as he left a Wokingham town centre supermarket.
Thames Valley Police has just released CCTV images of a man they wish to speak to in relation to the theft, which took place at lunchtime on Saturday, April 8.
Officers say that the man pictured in the images could have vital information which could help with their ongoing investigation into the theft.
A police spokesperson said that the incident happened around 1pm as the victim was leaving the Waitrose superstore on Rectory Road. THe wallet was taken from his pocket.
Investigating officer Police Constable Sophie Smith said: “We are asking for anyone who recognises the man in the images to contact us as a matter of urgency.
“We believe the victim was specifically targeted due to his vulnerability. We are concerned that other vulnerable people may also become targets.”
Anyone who recognises the man or who witnessed the incident last month is asked to contact Thames Valley Police on 101 quoting 43170102403.
