RESIDENTS can take items to be fixed for free at a borough repair cafe.
Spencers Wood Repair Cafe has expert menders ready to give a new lease of life to broken household items.
They will accept all sorts of items for repair, including broken china, toasters, and toys.
They even have a volunteer able to use a 3D printer to help repair items.
The group meets regularly on the third Sunday of each month.
There is no charge for fixing, but the group gratefully accepts donations which help to secure the future of the venture.
The next event is at Lambs Lane Primary School, on Sunday, March 17.
Doors are open from 10am until 1pm.
