THERE are lots of free opportunities to make friends and share a love of reading in Wokingham Borough this year.
Book clubs for adults meet in the town’s libraries at various times during the week.
Wokingham
Mondays
Monday Book Club gathers on the second Monday morning of the month from 10.30am until 11.30am.
Tuesdays
A third Tuesday Group meets to discuss new books, bestsellers and favourites from 10.30am until 11.30am.
Wednesdays
And a similar Wednesday morning book group meets on the last Wednesday morning in each month from 10.30am to 11.30am.
Another Wednesday group meets on the third Wednesday of each month from 2pm to 3.30pm
Thursdays
At Wokingham Library a group meets on the first Thursday evening of the month, from 6pm to 7pm.
Fridays
On the first Friday of the month a group club meets from 10am until 11am.
A VIP group for visually impaired readers (sighted readers welcome too) meets on the third Friday of the month from 2.15pm until 3.30pm.
Finchampstead
And in the nearby Finchampstead library readers can join a book club on the third Wednesday of the month from 10.30 to 11.30.
