THE WORK of a charity that helps young people is the focus for a new talk coming to Woodley next month.
Members of the WISE Over 50s Forum will welcome Sam Milligan, who heads up JAC (Just Around the Corner).
It runs the Rehoboth stables in Wokingham, offering an equine assisted learning experience, as well as a charity shop in Wokingham town centre which helps young adults gain valuable workplace skills.
It also operates detached youth work, to get alongside teenagers across Woodley.
Sam will explain more about the charity and its vision at the meeting, which will be held on Tuesday, July 11, from 2pm.
It takes place at Coronation Hall in Headley Road, and entry is £3. Raffle tickets, costing 50p each or five for £2, will be available.
