PEOPLE wanting an introduction to birdwatching can sign up for a course being run by Wokingham and Bracknell Royal Society for the Protection of Birds (RSPB).
The course is designed for people new to the hobby, and who want to learn how to get started.
Two indoor sessions will cover areas such as field guides, binoculars, bird identification, birdsong and calls, migration, and bird information.
Two outdoor sessions will put the learning into practice in small groups.
The evening classroom studies will be held in St Paul’s Parish Rooms, Wokingham, with outdoor sessions taking place in Dinton Pastures Country Park (DPCP).
The Course costs £24, or £7 per session if people can’t come to all the sessions.
Under 18s are charged £12, or £3.50 per session.
It takes place at:
St Paul’s on Wednesday, March 13, from 7pm until 9pm.
DPCP on Saturday, March 16, from 9am until noon.
St Paul’s on Wednesday, March 20, from 7pm until 9pm, and
DPCP on Saturday, March 23, from 9am until noon.
