The Arts Society Wokingham will start the festive season with an event led by a member of the Inner Magic Circle.
Bertie Pearce‘s illustrated talk called ‘Now You See it Now You Don’t’ will cover art which is designed to fool, surprise, and amuse viewers.
Topics will include Banksy, theatre magic, and the seemingly three-dimensional painting style called Trompe-l’œil.
The event is open to both members and guests, and the Society’s monthly illustrated talks are also live-streamed to their YouTube channel for those unable to attend in person.
Fans of camouflage and artistic deceit are invited to the talk at King’s Academy, Binfield, on Monday, November 17.
Tea and coffee is served from 7.15pm, with the talk beginning at 7.45pm.
