A WOKINGHAM author, actor, film editor and facilitator will be chatting with members of the public and signing copies of her book, Following The Son.
Jackie Mouradian will be the special guest at a meet the author event at Quench bookshop in Holme Grange Craft Village.
Jackie says that she iscovered the power of drama to bring Scripture to life and began writing biblical monologues and duologues that explore the lives of those who encountered Jesus.
“I’m drawn to the way stories shape our understanding of God and of ourselves,” she says. “They invite us to linger, to listen, and to imagine how the divine meets us in the ordinary patterns of life.
“This love of story has guided much of my ministry and creative work, shaping both how I see the world and how I seek to share the heart of the gospel with others.”
Jackie’s latest devotional publication, Following the Son, brings all her monologues together in a creative retelling of the story of Jesus’ ministry.
People from the Wokingham area may already have heard some of her monologues at local events, including the town’s Good Friday act of witness.
Jackie will be at Quench bookshop, Holme Grange Craft Village, on Saturday, February 21 from 4.30pm until 5.45pm.
The event costs £5 per person, and includes tea/coffee and cakes.
