Wokingham has welcomed another new business with the opening of a state-of-the-art kitchen showroom in Elms Walk.

The opening of Kütchenhaus, a state-of-the-art kitchen showroom, in Elms Walk in Wokingham town centre, took place last week.

The business signed a lease with the council earlier this year, and offers the latest in German-engineered kitchen design and living collections.

The Kütchenhaus Wokingham franchise business is co-owned by father and son Marc and Tony Maritz, alongside their business partners, AC Milan and England footballer Ruben Loftus-Cheek and his brother Isaac.

Marc said: “We were very fortunate to find such a fantastic location at Elms Walk.

“The locals are very friendly, which has given us a real sense of community within the area.

“I hope we bring a warm presence and look forward to providing only the best possible service with honesty and pride.

Wokingham Borough Council’s former executive member for business and economic development, Cllr Clive Jones, said: “We’re delighted to welcome global brands, such as Kütchenhaus, as the town expands its offering to residents and the wider community.”
