Nine young Reading FC players have put pen to paper on new contracts with the club.
Having offered out several new deals to both first-team players and academy players, the club have confirmed that nine academy players have signed on for next season.
Ashwar Ahmed has penned a two-year deal with the Royals having made 11 senior appearances last season.
Goalkeeper Josh Welland has penned a new two-year contract.
Jacob Borgnis, Carter Bowdery, Philip Duah, Sam Harrison, Shay Spencer, Basil Tuma and Abraham Kanu have all signed one-year deals.
