MORE DETAILS have been announced about a discount retailer opening in Wokingham town centre.
The Original Factory Shop is moving into the former M&Co store in Market Place, with the first day of trading will be Sunday, June 25.
Eight jobs are being created, including a store manager and their assistant, plus part-time sales roles.
The retailer has a range of bargain-based clothing, pet products, electricals, homewares, and a party shop service.
Brands stocked include Adidas, Nike, Clinique, Olay, Ralph Lauren, Converse, Hugo Boss, Carhartt, Emporio Armani and Joules.
Regional business development manager Jo French said: “The Original Factory Shop is a national business made up of over 180 local businesses, so we’re really excited to be coming to Wokingham and bringing our value offering to the local community.
“Our store will be run by local people from Wokingham and we’re still recruiting for five job positions and are keen to hear from candidates so that we’re ready to start serving up great value when the new store opens.”
