If you’re looking for a hidden gem in the heart of Wokingham, Piccolo Arco could be the answer.
The cosy, welcoming authentic Italian bistro in the town hall takes its name ‘from the arches’ that form the impressive entrance. Back in the day, the location was home to Wokingham’s fire station.

Piccolo Arco has been in Wokingham for almost ten years. It’s probably a restaurant you’ve passed many times but never visited, and if that’s the case you’re really missing out.
The restaurant is perfect for a relaxing coffee, a tantalising lunch or a more formal dinner.
Lunch, in particular, is an amazing experience. Chef uses imported Italian ingredients alongside locally sourced produce to create a selection of small dishes that are perfect for meeting friends and family, or for an informal business meeting. And the unhurried atmosphere means customers are welcome to stay beyond the 2.30pm closing time.
Joint-owner Sabri Veseli said: “The whole ethos is relaxed and informal.
“If you’ve been to Italy and want to sample something you’ve enjoyed but it’s not on the menu, we will do our best to accommodate you.”
If you’re looking for the perfect venue for a sumptuous Christmas lunch or dinner to remember, Piccolo Arco still has space.
Piccolo Arco is open for lunch between 11am and 2.30pm on Tuesdays through to Saturdays. Dinner is available between 6pm and 10pm on Monday until Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
