PLAYER RATINGS: Hein and Morrison help Reading FC to clean sheet in relegation scrap at Peterborough

KARL HEIN 7: Came up with some big saves to help keep a clean sheet. Made a very good stop early in the match from Jonson Clarke-Harris.

ANDY YIADOM 4: Solid enough defensively but couldn’t provide enough threat going forward. Hit some wayward crosses and passes.

MICHAEL MORRISON 6: Struggled passing out the back in difficult conditions but made two really vital clearances on the line

TOM HOLMES 5: Very slopping with his passing, albeit in very windy conditions. Did ok defensively and improved on recent performances.

BABA RAHMAN 5: Put in an excellent cross for Swift that the midfielder should have buried. Gave away possession quite a few times as did most players on the pitch.

DANNY DRINKWATER 2: Another poor display from the experienced midfielder in what is becoming a disastrous loan signing. Couldn’t keep the ball and was left chasing shadows.

ANDY RINOMHOTA 4:  Worked hard as usual and won the ball back importantly on a few occasions in the middle but didn’t provide much link with the front men.

JOHN SWIFT 3: Should have put the ball in the net with the best chance of the match when Rahman’s cross was placed perfectly for him but it was a tame effort.

TOM INCE 3: Wasn’t able to get in the game much. Struck a decent free-kick in the first-half but it lacked any direction to ever trouble the keeper.

YAKOU MEITE 4: Some bright moments with some bursts down the wing and delivered a couple of decent low crosses. Had a powerful shot turned away from the keeper. Great to have him back starting after such a long injury absence.

LUCAS JOAO 3: Anonymous for most of the game but almost came up with a moment of brilliance at the end. Tricked his way past two defenders effortlessly but hit a harmless shot at goal.
