THAMES Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of sexual assault in Wokingham.
At around 8.30pm on Wednesday, July 5, a woman in her thirties was cycling along Forest Road, Wokingham, towards Twyford Road when a white van sped up behind her.
The offender, described as a white man, then reached out from the van and slapped her on the rear.
Investigating officer, Daniel Hardwick of Reading AIU, said: “Thames Valley Police takes any form of violence against women and girls extremely seriously, and we are investigating this incident thoroughly.
“We are appealing anyone who witnessed this incident or have any information about what happened please contact us.
“We are specifically appealing for anyone with dash cam footage that may have been driving down Forest Road towards Twyford Road at around 8.30pm on Wednesday 5 July.
“Anyone with information can call police on 101 and quote reference number 43230297916.
