Peach Place was the venue for Wokingham’s celebration of Armed Forces Day on Saturday morning.
The annual event provides an opportunity for people to show support for the men and women of the Armed Forces community, including serving troops, service families, cadets and veterans.
Cllr Rob Comber, the Wokingham town mayor, attended the event.
He said: “”On behalf of Wokingham town, I thank those who are serving or have served, and I offer my respect to those who have given the ultimate sacrifice in order to keep us safe whilst also contributing towards world peace and security.
“Thank you too, to St Sebastian’s Band, who helped us mark this important day by performing, which was appreciated by many.”
The band was led by conductor Steve Block.
In a post on social media, the bank also thanked the many people who enjoyed the sun and listened to the band.
“I think this is the best turn out we have had for Armed Forces Day,” it noted.
