The original retro festival, Rewind, is returning to Temple Island Meadows in Henley-on-Thames from Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd August, promising three days of classic hits, nostalgia, and family-friendly entertainment.
Headlining this year’s event are The Human League on Saturday 22nd and, making their Rewind debut, The Proclaimers on Sunday 23rd. The line-up also features festival favourites such as Kim Wilde, Soul II Soul, Roland Gift, The Trevor Horn Band, Blancmange, Bow Wow Wow, Tony Hadley, Nik Kershaw, Toyah, The Undertones, and Lotus Eaters’ Peter Coyle, alongside exciting first-time Rewind performers including Louise, Toploader, Dave Hill’s Slade, Peter Andre, and Dodgy.
The festival will be hosted by Jenny Powell and The Doctor, with Powell presenting Saturday’s line-up and The Doctor presenting Sunday’s.
Rewind Festival offers much more than music. Returning attractions include the Pink Flamingo and River Stage, Silent Disco, the Inflatable Church for those seeking a quirky ‘Rewind Wedding’, the ‘Spend A Penny Arcade’, funfair rides, and a kid-zone with entertainment for younger festival-goers. Visitors can also explore a range of shops and stalls selling jewellery, food, drinks, and festival merchandise, with camping and glamping options available for a weekend stay.
The festival will close with a spectacular fireworks display on Sunday 23rd August, providing a final night of dancing under the moonlight.
