Beccy Speight, the chief executive of the RSPB (Royal Society for the Protection of Birds) will be in Finchampstead next month.
She is set to deliver a talk that will focus on the organisation, and its future plans, to the RSPB Wokingham and Bracknell group.
The event is part of the group’s celebrations of its 45 years of providing monthly walks and talks to encourage people to learn more about birds and other wildlife.
The talk will take place on Thursday, July 11, at Finchampstead Memorial Hall. Doors will open at 6pm.
This will be a ticket-only event, with tickets priced at £5 taht will include a light buffet with celebration cake and drinks, entry into the raffle and a 45th anniversary celebration programme.
