AN ANNUAL charity music event is changing venue this year, making it easier for music fans to attend.
Oxjam will take place in Bracknell’s Acoustic Couch, just a short walk from the town’s bus and train stations.
Six bands will be playing at the event which is being curated by local musical legend Abi Powell.
They are Toxic Sofa, Abi Powell, Oubilietts, LATE, The Nefarious Picaroons, and Bottle Kids.
The singer/songwriter says: “Oxjam is an annual charity music festival in the United Kingdom that raises money for Oxfam, whose mission is to fight poverty worldwide.
“Events are held in multiple cities across the United Kingdom every year in October.
“This will be my fifth Oxjam, previously held at the Cellar Bar at South Hill Park, but now hosted at The Acoustic Couch.
“We have six fantastic local acts playing, all with very different sounds which will make the evening very special.”
There will also be a photo booth, provided by Creative Eye
The event takes place on Friday, October 18, from 7pm.
Early bird tickets are £3 on the website WeGotTickets (The Acoustic Couch does Oxjam) or £5 on the door. All ticket sales will be donated to Oxfam.
