FAMILIES can enjoy all the fun of the fair thanks to the annual Spencers Wood Carnival, which returns later this month.
The annual day of fun will once again take place in Clares Green Road recreation ground and include a mixture of attractions for all ages.
Youngsters will enjoy giant inflatables and fairground rides from John Coneley’s fun fair. There will also be circus skills from Circus Scene as well as magic shows and craft activities.
A djembe drum workshop will be available, while there will be stalls from local groups to try.
There will be food stalls offering sausages, burgers, curry, sandwiches, Thai, and doughnuts, while a festival ale will be served in a beer tent.
And at 7pm, there will be a performance by the Acoustic Beatles Shambles. Earlier in the day the No Strings Attached ukulele band will play.
The fun runs from noon to 9pm on Saturday, September 21. Entry is free, but there is a charge for most activities.
