The future of a Wokingham Indian restaurant appears to be in doubt.
A high court repossession notice appeared on the door of Green Chilli at 25 Denmark Street last week.
The Kingston-upon-Thames law firm listed on the notice declined to comment on the reasons for the repossession when contacted by Wokingham Today.
The operators of the restaurant and takeaway were also approached for comment.
The property is owned by a private landlord, and not by Wokingham Borough Council. The unit was previously home to Taj Mahal.
Mystery also surrounds the fate of another Indian restaurant in Wokingham.
Mumbai in Peach Street has been closed for several months, with no indication of an imminent reopening.
Social media posts earlier this year suggested the take away would be closing for refurbishment.
No one from the business has replied to a request for comment.
