Suzanne Newman, Musical Director of Charvil-based Project Singers is currently seeking additional choir members.
The choir has two sections: one for girls aged ten to 18, and another for women.
“Our first project this year was A Night At The Movies,” says Suzanne.
“This led to a concert in March at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Maidenhead.”
“We’re now rehearsing for our next concert in July, Let’s Sing!
“It has lots of great songs, all about what we love doing, singing!” .
In the meantime, Suzanne is one step ahead, busy recruiting for the third project of the year.
“From September to December we’ll be working on the winter concert, Home For Christmas.
This will take place on December 17, along with some carol singing at Christmas.”
Suzanne needs more choir members for the December concert, and will hold auditions in June and July.
She says:
“We are looking for girls and ladies who love singing, and who can show commitment and enthusiasm!
“We are a very friendly group who also enjoy social and fund-raising events together.”
