THREE people have been taken to hospital following a collision in Crowthorne this afternoon.
Three cars were involved in the collision in Old Wokingham Road shortly after 2.20pm.
Crews from Wokingham and Wokingham Road fire stations were called to the scene, where they made the cars safe and delivered first aid to those with injuries before the ambulance service arrived.
Watch manager Grayson from Wokingham Road station said: “There were three walking wounded, two of those were elderly people with head and chest injuries.
“One person from another vehicle was also treated for chest injuries before all three were taken to the Royal Berkshire Hospital., but we believe their injuries were not life-threatening.”
