Hundreds of people descended on Winnersh last Saturday for the annual summer fete, despite the inclement weather.
Entertainment was provided by Dinton Pastures Country Park, Circus Scene, The Dance Zone, Elements Dance and Theatre Schools, Look and Lead, Saxcelerate, Basil And Crew Mobile Farm, Chameleon Face and Body Art, Big on Bouncing Limited and Bearwood Primary School.
A spokesperson for organisers, Winnersh Parish Council thanks the stallholders and food outlets, and to Royal Berkshire Fire and Rescue Service for attending with a fire engine.
“A big well done to our Civic Award Winners, ABC to Read and Andrew Shave from 1st Winnersh Scouts.”
The spokesperson also added thanks to the event sponsors Legacy Law Limited and Roy Wood Transits Ltd.
All money raised from the fete will be donated to its two chosen charities, Reading Family Aid and SHARE Wokingham.
