Tributes have been paid following the passing of two former mayors of Wokingham Borough Council.
Cllr Adrian Mather, mayor of Wokingham Borough, made the announcement at the recent full council meeting, notifying councillors of the sad passing of Diana Carpenter and Rob Stanton.
Diana took the role in the early 2000s, while Rob was elected as mayor in May 2017 and served as councillor for Finchampstead North.
The council observed a minutes’ silence for both former mayors.
