A BOROUGH archery group is holding an open day to allow people of all ages to try the sport, and to learn about the club.
In May, Crowthorne Archers will be offering one hour long coached sessions, without obligation or cost.
Archery is fun for all ages, they say, and the day is suitable for grandparents, parents and children alike.
All equipment, a safe shooting range and public liability insurance is provided.
From April to September, the club meets three times a week at St. Sebastian’s Sports Field, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5pm, and on Sunday mornings from 8:30am to 11:30am.
During the winter months members gather twice weekly at Sandhurst Sports Centre, on Wednesdays from 6pm to 8pm, and on Saturdays from 3pm to 5pm, and on Sunday mornings at St. Sebastian’s Sports Field from 8:30am to 11:30am.
The club is AGB affiliated, with all its licenced coaches having enhanced DBS clearance, and Safeguarding Children & Vulnerable Adults certification.
There will be five free trial sessions available for newcomers across the day, at St Sebastian’s Sports Club on Sunday, May 12, from 9am until 5pm.
