Twyford’s much-loved village fete returns for its ninth annual event next week.
The event will take place on Saturday, August 16, from 1pm until 5pm at Stanlake Meadow. The vibrant summer tradition brings residents, local businesses, and charities together for an afternoon of fun, entertainment, and fundraising for local causes.
This year’s highlight performance comes from the Vander Superheroes Wheel of Death
Show, which promises jaw-dropping, gravity-defying stunts that will thrill the whole family.
There’s also live music from The Mighty Triple O’s.
The full line-up of attractions includes:
• The Classic, Sports & Supercar show.
• Diana Brimblecombe Animal Rescue Centre’s dog show.
• Basil and Crew Mobile Farm for hands-on animal experiences.
• The crowd-favourite Tug of War, led by Master of Ceremonies Nick Fish.
• A wide range of food and drink stalls, including a licensed bar.
• Local crafts and community stalls.
Twyford parish council is also funding a number of free children’s activities including an inflatable obstacle course, circus skills, hoverboards, zorbs, go-karts, and more.
Admission is free on foot, making it a perfect day out for families and visitors alike.
Parking is available for £5, with proceeds going to charity.
