CAR drivers can find out all about EVs at an event in Elms Field
Anyone interested in switching to an electric vehicle can come along to a free event to find out more, see the latest models, and test-ride electric bikes.
With the sale of new petrol and diesel vehicles set to be phased out, Wokingham Borough Council (WBC) says it is doing all it can to help people adopt EVs.
This includes expanding its chargepoint network, with Government funding, and agreeing a long-term strategy for EV charging.
There’s no need to book – people can just turn up to be able to hear from industry experts giving advice and sharing the latest trends.
Free bicycle checks will also be available.
The event is organised by WBC in partnership with Let’s Experience Electric, with support from Wokingham Town Council and Bracknell Forest Council.
It will take place at Elms Field, on Saturday, September 20, from 10am until 2pm.
