VISTORS to Wokingham can enjoy visiting artists at work this weekend.
Wokingham Arts Trail’s 14th annual event will feature the creativity of 35 professionals; artists who work with watercolours, acrylics, oil paints, or make jewellery, handmade books, glassware and textiles.
The Wokingham Arts Trail provides a platform for local artists to exhibit their work within the Wokingham community and surrounding area.
The event strives to create a varied and interesting experience for visitors by selecting a wide range of artists who create high quality, unique and innovative work.

Venues on the trail this year include the Bradbury Centre, Nuffield Health, Wokingham Baptist Church, and the Rose Cottage Stud on Binfield Road.
Trail followers can meet the artists, including 10 new contributors, and will be able to view and buy their work.
At the Bradbury Centre people can visit the following artists: Fred Bennet – oils; Kate Ellison Bourne – paintings, ceramics; Trish Roberts – printmaking; Helena Ross – fused glass; and Linda Saul – mixed media paintings and prints.

At 4 Purslane, artists Jill Chadwick – fused glass; Christine Morgan – ceramics, mixed media; and Janet Richardson – precious metal jewellery can be visited.
Grant Forsyth – silver, gold and gem set jewellery; and Richard Young – Oils will be at R.Young Art Gallery.
Nuffield Health Club is hosting: Cath Baldwin – handprinted linocuts, etchings and silkscreens; Mohan Banerji – pen and wash and mixed media; Sue Bridge – mixed media painting and collages, hand-built ceramics; Liz Chaderton – watercolour, mixed media; Manuela Kagerbauer – sculpture, metalwork and glass; Helen Ormerod – stoneware ceramics; and Sarah Pye – acrylics.

14 Milton Road is where vistors can meet Peter Izod – pen and watercolour, acrylics; and Marianne McCaughey – handpainted jewellery.
At Wokingham Baptist Church artists Clare Buchta – oils, acrylic, mixed media, collage, prints; Jayne Kozlow – handpainted prints;
Carina Lefter – mixed media; Susi London – acrylics; and Janina Maher – pen and watercolour, handmade books will be showing their work.
Old Kiln Yard, Shute End will hold an exhibition of mixed media, eco friendly ‘Animal Art’ from Arts4Wokingham, with workshops.

Binnie Pottery – pottery gifts and experiences can be found at 180 Finchampstead Road.
Shirley Smith – ceramics can be visited at 88 Woosehill Lane.
87 Northway is the place to see work by Trudy Dredge – jewellery; Caroline Gatfield – ceramic sculpture; Maria Meerstadt – paintings.
And at Contemporary Artworks Studio, Rose Cottage Stud, Binfield Road, visitors will be able to see work by Allison Coles – painting, collage, ceramics; Caz Dowdall – acrylics; Megan Haddock – pen artwork; Melissa Hobson-Matthews – acrylic, watercolours; and Alina Luchianov – acrylics and oil canvases.

All venues are free to visit, and are open on Saturday and Sunday, September 20 and 21, from 10.30am until 5pm on both days.
