A school in Bracknell has received permission for a temporary portacabin to teach pupils.
The cabin was installed at the Catholic primary school, with a similar plan for a permanent extension to a secondary school also progressing.
And a plan for 16 homes in a village has been submitted near where a previous application for 40 homes was refused.

The installation of a portacabin containing two classrooms for St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Primary School in the Hanworth area has been approved.
A planning agent said: “Due to the need to fulfil the increasing prospective numbers for the nursery, the school needed to put the Nursery into the main school building.
“The Year 6 Class has occupied the Portakabin classrooms.”
Although Bracknell Town Council expressed concern about the traffic impact, it was acknowledged that the highway harm did not outweigh the benefits, with the installation being approved on July 30.
Progress for new special education block at Crowthorne secondary school (Bracknell app 25/00100/COND)
Progress is being made on a project for a new special education block at Edgbarrow School in Crowthorne.
A plan for an extension to an existing school building to create a Specialist Resource Provision (SRP) was approved this February.
The SRP a program within a mainstream school that provides tailored support for students with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).
Details of the building materials for the extension were approved onJuly 31.
Plan for 16 homes in Barkham (Wokingham app 251486)
A plan has been submitted to build 16 homes on land between Edneys Hill and Barkham Road in the village.
The project by Abbeymill Homes would see eight semi-detached houses, two detached houses and six flats contained in one apartment block.
The development would provide eight three-bedroom homes, two two-bed homes and six one-bed flats.
The site in question sits west of Edney’s Hill. A site just to the east of the lane by Bewley Homes was rejected in September 2023.
Plan for two new homes at farm (Wokingham app 251279)
A plan has been submitted to build two new family homes at Sandlea Farm outside of Wokingham, east of the A329M junction for Binfield.
The project involves building two, two and a half storey, five-bedroom detached dwellings next to an existing house.
It will require a new access to be formed from London Road.
Vehicle parking would be provided by a carport as well as a large driveway area for both homes.
