Wokingham Today, in association with Wokingham Borough Council and Wokingham Community Vision 2035, is delighted to announce the third annual event dedicated to celebrating the great and good of our fabulous Borough.

On Tuesday, November 11th, we will be honouring the amazing work done by individuals, groups and local businesses at the fabulous All Saints Church in Wokingham town.

Following the success of the last 2 years events the evening promises to showcase some amazing stories of just what a difference people can make in our local community.

Wokingham Today General Manager Eddie Pearce said: “For the past 2 years we’ve heard some amazing stories of groups and individuals, who are making such a difference to the borough we live in.

It’s truly inspiring and it is nice for people to be nominated for going above and beyond to help in their local communities.

“Wokingham is one of the best places in the country to live, and one of the main reasons is the people who live and work here. So here is an opportunity to celebrate everything that’s good about our borough.

“We can’t wait to see who you nominate.”

There are several categories aimed at shining a spotlight on many aspects of our borough, from Remenham and Ruscombe in the north to Crowthorne, Finchampstead and Shinfield in the south.

If you know someone who fits one of the awards, make sure you put them forward.

There is no charge to nominate, and we’ll feature some of the nominations in the run-up to the ceremony.

All nomination, groups, individuals or businesses must be located within the Wokingham Borough.

To enter is simple … all you need to do is fill in the nominations form below and submit.

Our judging panel will then meet to devise a shortlist. Those on it will be notified before the awards night so they can attend and enjoy celebrating the great and good of Wokingham Borough.

We look forward to hearing your amazing stories.

Keep up to date with Wokingham Today in print and online to hear more about the awards, including meeting the judges and hosts.
