Community Business of the Year, sponsored by Wokingham Positive Difference: Blandy & Blandy
Blandy & Blandy was awarded the Community Business of the Year award, sponsored by Wokingham Positive Difference.
The company actively supports a number of charities through sponsorship and events, as well as hosting events to bring together business, government and charities.
Minnaar Badenhoirst in particular gives time up for education and help slots at All Saints for older people, and David Lamont frequently attends events across all sectors.
They have also supported the Communities Vision Strategy from the outset and continue to do so.
Claire Dyer, Chair and Partner at Blandy & Blandy, said: “We are delighted to have received the Community Business of the Year Award – thank you to those who kindly nominated our firm.
“We are proud to continue to work with and support a range of local charities and good causes in Wokingham borough.
“Blandy & Blandy is fortunate to be a part of the Wokingham community – our office at 5 Market Place is in a great location in the town centre and the borough is a fantastic place to do business.
“The Awards and the evening itself are always an important reminder of the vital work being done by local charities, other organisations and individuals across the borough, and of the positive impact that this has on many people’s lives.
“Congratulations to all of the award recipients and nominees and thank you again to everyone involved.”
